Shelby speaks at Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce Safety Council

All anyone feels when they shake hands with Lee Shelby is cold, lifeless steel. All the bilateral, below-elbow amputee feels is a slight pressure on the end of his arm where it is attached to a prosthesis.

Shelby lost both hands just above the wrist in an electrical accident on Aug. 12, 1991, while working for Memphis Light, Gas & Water.
